Our view on firearm ownership and use has not changed since the Canning by-election. We happily support the legal ownership of firearms in Western Australia for target/competition shooting.

We do not want to see an increase in firearm ownership and we certainly do not want to see recreational shooting of wild-living animals increase and in fact will make all efforts to ban the practice.
