A client of ours recently brought us his old Ruger M77 Hawkeye hunting rifle in .270 and wanted us to do something special with it.

Starting with a McMillan A5 fiberglass stock and fluted TSE barrel, we made him a custom 7-port titanium muzzle brake to top it off. A Nightforce ATACR 5-25×56 F1 scope will keep him hitting as far as the rifle can, and a TruGlo spotlight/laser combo will make sure that he doesn’t have to stop after dark. The Atlas bipod and ZP-1 auto-stabilising rear monopod support will give him a stable shooting platform to shoot from.

As we started with an old rifle and our client provided the bipod, all up this build came to around $12,000, including the scope. We are sure this will be a fantastic varmint hunting rig and hope it does well for him!
